Typical price ranges, what actually drives a quote, and how to keep your cost per visit down.
Facilities managers ask us this before almost anything else, so here is a straight answer. Nobody can price a building without seeing it, but there are typical ranges, and knowing what moves the number up or down helps you compare quotes and budget for the year.
Typical U.S. ranges. Industry pricing guides put commercial window cleaning at roughly $6 to $20 per window for storefront and low rise buildings, and $15 to $40 per window when glass needs special access. Crews that bill hourly usually land around $45 to $75 per cleaner hour. A small storefront with about a dozen windows often runs somewhere around $100 to $200 a visit. Connecticut tends to sit toward the middle or upper end of national ranges because of labor and insurance costs.
What raises the price. Height and access are the biggest factors. Glass above the second floor, glass behind landscaping or over a sloped roof, and anything needing a lift costs more. Interior glass adds time. Heavy hard water spotting from sprinklers, construction residue, paint or stickers, and salt film near the shoreline all add work. So do tight time windows, like cleaning only before 7am.
What lowers it. A recurring schedule is the easiest way to bring your per visit cost down. Industry guides commonly show 10 to 20 percent off for recurring service compared with a one time cleaning, because maintained glass is faster to clean and visits can be routed efficiently. Exterior only visits between full inside and outside cleanings also stretch the budget. Water fed pole systems, which we use, reach upper floors from the ground and often remove the need to rent a lift.
How often to schedule. Most offices and medical buildings do well twice a year. High traffic storefronts, dealership showrooms, bank branches and highway-side retail usually look best quarterly or more. Buildings near the water need more frequent visits because salt film builds up faster and can etch the glass if it sits.
How we price. Every building is different, so we do not publish a commercial price list. We walk the property with you for free, count the glass, look at height and access, and send a written quote within 48 hours. Most buildings end up on one of our three programs: Essentials (exterior twice a year), Executive (inside and out twice a year with a photo report), or Signature Glass (quarterly exterior plus interior and hard water treatment). If you want a ballpark for a home instead, our instant quote builder gives you a price in about a minute.

Three recurring programs, built around how often your glass actually needs attention.
For buildings that need their glass looking sharp a couple times a year.
Inside and out, with a paper trail your property manager will actually use.
For high-visibility glass that needs to look perfect year round.
Every building is different. We price each one after a free site walk and send your quote within 48 hours.
One-time cleanings are available too, no program required. We also offer optional Weather & Construction Protection, a free exterior touch up after storms, pollen, or nearby construction dust.
We walk the property with you, look at window count, height and access, and talk through what you need.
You get a written quote built around your actual building, not a price list. No pressure, no obligation.
Our crew arrives on the day we agreed on and sends a photo report when the work is done.
We clean with a purified water fed pole system, using reverse osmosis and deionized water. Pure water carries no minerals, so it dries completely spot free with no soap or chemical residue left behind on the glass.
We clean low rise and mid rise buildings up to 40 feet, about 4 stories from the ground with our purified water fed pole system, and can extend higher for larger jobs. No lifts, no scaffolding, no crews trampling your landscaping.
The same system lets us reach upper floor windows safely from the ground, without ladders propped against your building or lifts blocking your parking lot.
If anything is not right after a visit, tell us within 48 hours and we will come back and re-clean it at no charge.
